Intel Showcases Latest Gadgets Powered By Its Processors

New Delhi: Chip maker Intel India showcased the latest range of devices, including two-in-ones, ultrabooks, value PCs, tablets and Smartphones, powered by its processors.

The company organized the India Retail Innovation and Technology Tour, which displayed a wide range of devices based on touch, gesture and voice recognition technologies.

"2013 has been a special year for us, with launch of 4th Gen Intel Core processors and Silvermont microarchitecture," Intel Corporation Director (Consumer Channels Group) Thaine Creitz said here.

The Silvermont microarchitecture technology is aimed at low-power requirements in market segments from Smartphones to the data centre.

"These innovations have been a step towards revolutionizing the way we interface with computing devices through touch, voice, facial recognition and gesture-based interactions," Creitz added.

Besides, the company will officially introduce Bay Trail, Intel's first 22nm SoC for mobile devices based on its new low-power, high-performance Silvermont microarchitecture at the Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco this week.

Bay Trail will power a range of innovative designs most notably tablets and 2-in-1s.

Intel showcased its Quick Sync Video, built into the 4th generation Intel Core processor, which uses dedicated media processing to make video creation and conversion faster and easier.

It can be used to create DVDs or Blu-ray disc's, create and edit 3D videos, convert 2D video files into 3D and convert video for portable media player and for uploading on social networking sites.

Brands like Hewlett-Packard, Lenovo, Acer, Samsung, Asus, Toshiba, Sony, Dell, Ramos, etc are installing these cutting edge processors on their two-in-ones, ultrabooks, value PCs, tablets and Smartphones to enrich user experience.
