Adore Infotech : Networks are hopping mad over Dish's commercial skipping
There's a trick to keeping location off photos in the new Facebook Camera app, PayPal is popping up at more retailers, and Dish Network is fighting a legal battle over skipping commercials.
I think its ridicules that the four major networks are mad about commercials being skipped. I did not hear any complaining out of them at CES 2012 when Dish introduced the world to their PrimeTime Anytime feature that automatically records networks prime time shows everyday in HD on CBS, ABC, NBC and FOX! I mean, let’s call a spade a spade hear folks. A Dish co-worker told me about the Auto Hop feature about a week ago and once I got a chance to try it out I learned that the content isn't even live that’s its allowing you to skip, and there’s a pop up message that comes up giving you the choice if your want to skip the commercials or not. It seems kind of petty that this is a big deal, but either way I’m on your side Dish.
